Fleur De Stitch'd is a black woman owned business in Baton Rouge, LA. I am the owner, Micah. I started dying in 2019. I absolutely love this journey and the people I have met along the way. Fiber events are my fave to attend.
In May 2022, I organized the Baton Rouge Fiber Arts & Makers Festival. It was such an honor to organize this event. I had such a great time meeting other indie dyers and visitors near and far from Baton Rouge. I'm hopeful to host this event every year and/or semi annually.
I currently teach kids the (ages 9-17) how to knit. Sessions are programmed with BREC (Baton Rouge Recreation). I enjoy teaching and seeing my students excitement when they learn. I am also a sub teacher for the EBR school district and I am currently a student at Southeastern Louisiana Univ. studying Health & Physical Education. I am a volleyball coach for the Luna Wolves which is programmed by the LA Wolves Youth Organization.
With your continuous support, I look forward to more great things happening for my business and our community.
